Effective date: 1st October 2026
These Terms govern your use of the BizByte app and https://www.BizByte.ai (together, the "Service"), operated by BizByte Media Private Limited, CIN U58131PN2026PTC250991. Our registered office and principal place of business is B203, Marvel Piazza, Viman Nagar, Pune 411014, Maharashtra, India. Contact us at info@BizByte.ai.
BizByte provides business news, short AI-generated news summaries that are reviewed by people before publication, news-related short videos, editorials and related features. Summaries are typically about 60 words. The Service is currently intended for users in the United States and India.
Where required, we present these Terms for acceptance through an affirmative action, such as a checkbox or tap-to-agree step, and retain a record of acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant Service. Merely displaying a link may not be sufficient to establish agreement where affirmative acceptance is legally required.
The Privacy Policy explains how BizByte handles personal information. Accepting these Terms does not, by itself, authorize optional marketing or optional use of personal information for AI model training. Mandatory legal rights take priority over any conflicting wording in these Terms.
BizByte operates from India and uses AWS hosting in the United States. Personal information may also be processed by the service providers described in the Privacy Policy, including AI providers when an AI feature is used. The Privacy Policy explains the relevant purposes, recipients and safeguards. We do not rely on these Terms as blanket consent to a transfer that would otherwise be unlawful.
BizByte is intended only for people aged 18 and over. You must confirm that you are at least 18 when creating an account. Do not create or use an account if you are under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may restrict or close the account and handle associated information as described in the Privacy Policy.
You may browse without an account, but some features require registration. Provide accurate information and use only a business email address you are authorized to use when registering for Premium. Keep your login credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to info@BizByte.ai. You are responsible for your own conduct, but you are not automatically liable for every unauthorized action merely because it involved your account. Do not impersonate another person or evade a justified account restriction.
BizByte currently offers the Service without a subscription fee. Premium access is also free and currently requires a business email address and the professional information requested in the Premium registration flow. Depending on the fields marked as required at registration, that information may include your company name, current role and industry. The app describes the features available with Premium.
There are currently no paid subscriptions, free-to-paid trials, recurring charges, cancellation fees or payment-card collection for the Service. Ordinary device, data and internet charges are your responsibility. Access requirements and available features may change. Where required, we will give notice of material changes and obtain any necessary agreement.
If BizByte introduces a paid offering, it will provide applicable pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund disclosures and obtain your affirmative purchase authorization before charging you. These Terms do not authorize future charges.
Providing professional information to obtain free Premium is separate from optional marketing consent. You can decline marketing without thereby consenting to marketing through registration or by providing a business email. Where applicable law requires a financial-incentive notice for the Premium programme, BizByte will provide the required notice before asking you to opt in.
Summaries condense source reporting and may omit context, become outdated or contain factual or AI-generated errors despite human review. Review the original reporting and reliable, current sources before relying on a material statement. We may update, correct or remove a story, including where a source corrects it or rights are disputed. Source availability and access conditions may change.
The Service provides general news and information. It is not individualized investment, financial, tax or legal advice, a recommendation to buy or sell a security, an offer of a financial product, or a representation that an investment is suitable for you. BizByte does not assess your financial circumstances, provide brokerage services or execute transactions. The Service does not provide stock-price services, investment watchlists, investment alerts or personalized investment recommendations.
News and AI responses may discuss companies or markets. Past performance and forecasts do not establish future results. Verify information and obtain appropriate professional advice before making financial decisions. Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for fraud, misleading commercial practices or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To request an editorial correction, email info@BizByte.ai with the story title or link, the statement concerned and supporting information. We will review the request and respond as appropriate and as required by applicable law.
BizByte and its licensors retain the rights they own in the software, branding and original material. Publishers and other rights holders retain their rights in source articles, photographs, headlines, logos and other third-party material. BizByte does not claim ownership of third-party reporting or exclusive copyright in every AI output. Source credit does not imply endorsement or partnership.
Subject to these Terms and applicable platform rules, BizByte grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control and to read the Service for personal information purposes, including ordinary professional reading. You may use sharing features to the extent permitted by their design and applicable rights. This licence does not grant a right to commercially republish, syndicate or build a dataset from Service content.
Do not bypass access controls, scrape the Service at scale, redistribute content, remove rights notices or use the Service as a source for a competing feed without permission, except to the extent applicable law gives you a right that cannot be excluded. Restrictions on reverse engineering are subject to the same qualification. Nothing here removes fair use, fair dealing or other non-waivable statutory rights.
BizByte remains responsible for obtaining the rights required for its own operations, including addressing applicable publisher and supplier rights. These Terms do not transfer responsibility for BizByte's source licensing or editorial summaries to users.
This section applies to question, comment, support or chat features that BizByte makes available. The relevant feature will identify whether a submission is public, private, sent to support or processed by AI. These Terms do not authorize undisclosed uploads, voice recording, social feeds or contact-book access.
You retain the rights you have in your submissions. You give BizByte a non-exclusive permission to host, transmit, format, display to the audience you select and process submissions as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant feature, address abuse and comply with law. We may use contracted providers for these purposes. This permission ends when the submission is deleted, except for necessary backup expiry, lawful retention and copies already shared with others at your direction.
Do not submit content you lack the right to use, confidential employer information, passwords or another person's sensitive information without a lawful basis. Private prompts and support messages are not licensed for public display or unrelated commercialization. These Terms do not authorize optional training on personal information. The Privacy Policy describes BizByte's AI processing and applicable retention limits.
AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, biased or incomplete. Human review of published news summaries does not mean every AI response is reviewed by a person. Do not treat an AI response as personalized professional advice. Where an AI feature sends your input or relevant story context to an AI provider, the feature and Privacy Policy explain the processing that applies.
You may send feedback or suggestions to BizByte. We may use general suggestions to improve the Service, but personal information contained in feedback remains governed by the Privacy Policy. You do not transfer ownership of all your usage data or waive privacy rights by using the Service.
BizByte currently uses Claude from Anthropic and OpenAI models or services in its AI workflow, as described in the Privacy Policy. Published news summaries are typically about 60 words and are reviewed by people before publication. A feature may identify the provider used for that feature and explain what information is sent where required. We update relevant disclosures when our use of AI providers changes.
Information sent to an AI provider is processed on BizByte's behalf or as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy and under the applicable provider terms. Naming a provider does not make it a party to these Terms and does not, by itself, authorize that provider to use your input to train its general-purpose models. BizByte does not intentionally enable optional model training on subscriber identifiers, private messages or user prompts.
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe rights, impersonate others, publish threats or unlawful harassment, distribute malware, interfere with security, send spam or deceptively manipulate engagement. Lawful criticism and disagreement are not themselves violations.
Where user content or reporting controls are available, report unlawful or abusive material to info@BizByte.ai and use the controls provided in the relevant feature. We may review reports proportionately, restrict features, remove content or suspend accounts to address violations, legal obligations or material security risks. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to correct or appeal a decision. We may act without advance notice where necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.
You may appeal a moderation decision by emailing info@BizByte.ai with the decision and relevant context. Review and disclosure of private material remain subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
BizByte does not currently display advertising or sponsored placements. Links to publisher or other third-party services take you to services governed by their own terms, privacy practices and any paywall. BizByte does not guarantee independent third-party offerings or imply endorsement merely by linking to them. This does not exclude responsibility for BizByte's own representations or conduct.
Optional email marketing requires a separate affirmative opt-in. Registration and providing a business email for free Premium do not, by themselves, authorize marketing. You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or contact info@BizByte.ai. Necessary account and security messages may continue. Push notifications can be managed in your device settings. BizByte does not currently operate an SMS messaging programme.
Send copyright notices to BizByte Media Private Limited at info@BizByte.ai or to the Pune address in Section 1. This contact is not represented as a registered DMCA agent.
For a notice under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), identify the copyrighted work, the material alleged to infringe it and where it can be found; provide your contact details and signature; include the required good-faith statement and statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury. We assess notices promptly and remove or disable access where appropriate. We may share a notice with the person who supplied the material where necessary and lawful. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may result in liability.
If your submission was removed through a DMCA process and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice containing the information required by applicable law, including identification of the removed material and its former location, your contact details, signature, the required statements under penalty of perjury, and the required jurisdiction and service-of-process consent. Where Section 512 applies, we follow its counter-notice process and statutory timelines, subject to any applicable legal exception. This process does not promise restoration of BizByte's own editorial material.
Where applicable, we may terminate accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances. Reports concerning trademarks, privacy, defamation, factual errors or other rights may use the same contact and should identify the right, material and requested action. These procedures do not establish that BizByte's own summaries qualify for a statutory safe harbour.
If you obtain the app through Apple, Apple's applicable standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app licence. These Terms govern BizByte's Service features. Apple's applicable usage rules control any conflicting licence restriction. For downloads through Google Play, applicable Google Play terms also apply.
BizByte provides Service support at info@BizByte.ai. Apple and Google operate their own stores and are not parties to the BizByte Service agreement merely because they distribute the app. Follow applicable export-control and sanctions rules when using the app. We do not authorize access where providing the Service would be unlawful.
We may make reasonable changes to maintain, improve or secure the free Service or respond to law and content-rights requirements. Where practicable, we will give advance notice of material withdrawal of a feature and an opportunity to export available account information. We may need to remove content immediately for legal or security reasons.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion through Home > Profile > Delete Profile or by contacting info@BizByte.ai, as described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion and lawful retention are distinct from uninstalling the app.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, serious risk or legal requirement. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach or challenge the decision. We may discontinue the free Service on reasonable notice. We do not promise to keep any feature available indefinitely.
We exercise the care required by applicable law. Subject to your mandatory rights, the Service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular decision. To the extent legally permitted, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed. Express commitments and non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
BizByte is not responsible for independent third-party conduct solely because the Service links to that party. BizByte remains responsible for its own legally actionable acts and omissions, including in selecting, configuring and using providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Statutory privacy and consumer remedies are preserved to the extent they cannot be limited.
Subject to those protections, and only where lawful, BizByte is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or business loss, such as lost profits, arising from personal use of the Service. For claims that can lawfully be capped, BizByte's total liability arising from the Service is limited to US$100 or its equivalent in local currency. This limitation does not prevent an injunction or other non-waivable relief and does not bind a third-party rights holder that has not agreed to it.
You remain responsible under applicable law for harm caused by your unlawful conduct. Ordinary consumer use does not create a general duty to defend or indemnify BizByte.
If an organization separately authorizes you to use the Service on its behalf, that organization agrees, to the extent lawful, to compensate BizByte for reasonable third-party losses caused by the organization's knowing infringement or wilful unlawful misuse. This does not cover BizByte's own wrongdoing, source licensing, editorial content or ordinary use of AI features. BizByte must promptly notify the organization, reasonably cooperate, mitigate loss and obtain the organization's consent to a settlement imposing an admission or obligation on it. A work email alone does not bind an employer to this clause.
Indian law, including applicable law in Maharashtra, governs these Terms, subject to mandatory protections available to you under the law of your habitual residence. Where a forum agreement is lawful, the competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra, have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in courts or consumer forums available to you under mandatory law, including in your home jurisdiction, or contacting a regulator. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a jury-trial waiver or a shortened statutory claim period.
You may first contact info@BizByte.ai to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is voluntary and is not a prerequisite to legal relief or a suspension of a legal deadline.
We will post revised Terms with the date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes, normally at least 30 days, unless a legal or urgent security reason requires faster action. We will explain urgent changes where practicable. Changes requiring agreement will be presented for acceptance. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or authorize a new use of personal information.
These Terms and any specifically accepted feature terms form the agreement for the Service. The Privacy Policy governs descriptions of information handling and is not overridden by a broad content licence. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues only to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a term is not a permanent waiver.
We may transfer the agreement with the business if doing so does not reduce mandatory rights, and we will provide notice where required. Neither a transfer nor events beyond reasonable control excuse non-waivable duties. Provisions about accrued claims, intellectual property and lawful dispute resolution survive only as needed by their nature. Content permissions and personal-data retention remain limited as stated above.
